Books Behind or Messy?
Start Here.
Your books do not need to be perfect before reaching out.

If your accounts are unreconciled, receipts are missing, HST is unclear, or several months of bookkeeping have piled up, Timmins Bookkeeping can help review what you have, identify what is missing, and get your records back on track.

Cleanup work can be handled as a one-time project or used as the starting point for monthly bookkeeping.

What we do
Practical bookkeeping support for small business owners who want organized records, clearer numbers, and fewer surprises
Monthly Bookkeeping
Starting at $250/month + HST
Keep your books organized, current, and easier to rely on. Monthly bookkeeping may include transaction review, bank and credit card reconciliation, QuickBooks support, and routine file maintenance so your records stay ready for tax time, HST filings, and business decisions.
Books Review & Reporting
From $150/month + HST
HST and/or Payroll Support
HST from $175/quarter + HST
Payroll from $150/month + HST
Need help with HST or payroll without full monthly bookkeeping? We can assist with GST/HST return preparation, payroll entries, remittance tracking, and basic CRA account support, based on the services selected for your file.
Cleanup & Catch-Up Bookkeeping
From $150 + HST
Clear reports help you understand where your business stands. We can prepare basic bookkeeping reports such as profit and loss summaries, balance sheet reports, HST summaries, and other useful reports based on the records available.
Behind on your books or dealing with messy records? We can help review, organize, correct, or catch up prior periods so your bookkeeping file is cleaner, more reliable, and ready for ongoing service, HST filing, payroll support, or reporting.
How it works
A simple process to keep your books organized, current, and easier to rely on.
Setup Review
We review your file, access, records, and bookkeeping needs to see what is current, missing, or needs attention.
Send Records on Schedule
You provide the required records, statements, receipts, and answers by the agreed deadlines so everything stays on track.
Confirm Scope & Findings
We confirm what your service includes, what falls outside scope, and whether cleanup or extra work is needed before work begins.

You receive organized bookkeeping, clearer numbers, and practical reports that help you understand where your business stands.

About
Built from the same standard as NorthStar Taxes
After building NorthStar Taxes around clear pricing, careful work, and personal service, I created Timmins Bookkeeping to bring that same standard to small business bookkeeping.

Many business owners do not need complicated accounting talk. They need someone organized, responsive, and clear about what is included, what is needed, and what comes next.

Timmins Bookkeeping is part of the broader NorthStar model: practical support, clear expectations, and professional service across tax, bookkeeping, payroll, and business administration.

Any Questions?
Common questions about getting started, service scope, records, pricing, and cleanup work.
Common Questions
Q1. Do I need QuickBooks Online?
Not always. If you already use QuickBooks Online, we can work from there. If not, we can review your setup and recommend the simplest option based on your records, service needs, and budget.
Q2. What if my books are behind or messy?
We start by reviewing the file, identifying what is current, missing, unclear, or needs correction. If cleanup or catch-up work is needed, the scope and pricing are confirmed before the work continues.
Q3. Do you file GST/HST returns only?
Yes. Timmins Bookkeeping can help with GST/HST-only filing if you do not need full monthly bookkeeping. The work depends on whether your totals are already prepared or need to be reviewed and organized.
Q4. Do you offer payroll support?
Yes, payroll support may be available depending on your setup. This can include payroll-related bookkeeping, remittance tracking, T4 support, ROEs, corrections, and payroll cleanup when needed.
Q5. Do you work outside of Timmins?
Yes. We are based in Timmins, but many bookkeeping, HST, payroll, cleanup, and reporting services can be handled remotely through secure online access and document sharing.
